ok so when i was sick last week i watched every episode of lost.

today i was looking around the internets about stuff in the show.
and i found this gif of the scene when hurley is racing around the sydney airport trying to get to his flight. i DID notice the rugby team when i watched the episode the first time, but i never noticed...THE NUMBERS


the only problem with this is that there wouldn't be a 23 or a 42 on a travelling rugby team. unless they got to choose, which is rare. or it might be a soccer team, but it's australia! it has to be rugby!

Oh SHIT! The numbers!!!!

Out of all the mysteries about Lost, those damn numbers bug/intrigue me more than anything else

Ohhh I never noticed that! This has me all excited for the second season of Lost. I think it starts here in like a week or two.

I haven't watched the show since around the middle of the first season, but I love how the numbers are everywhere. Veronica Mars has even used them (on a fortune from a fortune cookie) and some comic book (for some reason I'm thinking CatWoman) used it on the cover of a recent issue as the numbers on one of those signs you hold if you get arrested and have to take your picture and all that stuff.

Pretty much a useless comment, I know. :P

why no 23 or 42 on a travelling rugby team?
also it's definitley rugby and not soccer - the very first girl at the very beginning of the clip is holding a rugby ball.

'cause you have 15 people on the field and 7 spares, so (actually) it would go up to #22 (because # corresponds with position in rugby). these look like new expensive jersey's...usually old replaced etc. jersy's are the one's that have weird #'s.
